چکیده
Avocado (Persea americana Mill.) is a member of Lauraceae with one-seeded berry fruit and cultivated in all tropical, subtropical regions the world Southern coast region Turkey. Oxidative damage caused by UV can trigger inflammation, resulting serious inflammatory skin diseases including eczema, seborrheic dermatitis, hyperpigmentation ageing. Enzyme inhibitors involved melanogenesis, such as tyrosinase, have been used recently for cosmetic products. Objective: This study aimed to evaluate antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-tyrosinase activities total polyphenolic contents different parts P. fruit. Methods: The was divided into exocarp, mesocarp, seed, then methanol n-hexane extracts were prepared. DPPH ABTS free radical scavenging capacities inhibitory potentials on lipid peroxidation determined investigate antioxidant extracts. Anti-inflammatory evaluated measuring stabilization level human red blood cell membrane. tyrosinase samples using mushroom tyrosinase. Results: In general possessed remarkable higher than highest activity seed (4.17 ± 0.04 mg/mL) followed exocarp (5.25 0.05 mg/mL). Overall greatest obtained (0.03 0.01 anti-lipid assay, noticed (7.71 0.36 µg/mL) (12.12 0.34 µg/mL), while inactive. exhibited anti-inflammatory properties However, maximum (0.40 (0.46 Conclusions: These are promising candidates use natural products-based inflammation-related disease, also dermatological applications.

In Vitro Propagation of Avocado (Persea americana Mill.) Abstract
A method with high success frequency for propagation of avocado is described. Embryonic axes of mature avocado seeds from six Floridian cultivars were excised and cultured in Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium containing growth regulators. Two types of cytokinins were used: benzyladenine (BA) and thidiazuron (TDZ). Explants were incubated in the dark for 7-10 days to reduce browning, then transfer...
متن کاملTranscriptional signatures of ancient floral developmental genetics in avocado (Persea americana; Lauraceae).
The debate on the origin and evolution of flowers has recently entered the field of developmental genetics, with focus on the design of the ancestral floral regulatory program. Flowers can differ dramatically among angiosperm lineages, but in general, male and female reproductive organs surrounded by a sterile perianth of sepals and petals constitute the basic floral structure. However, the bas...
متن کاملAnticonvulsant effect of Persea americana Mill (Lauraceae) (Avocado) leaf aqueous extract in mice.
Various morphological parts of Persea americana Mill (Lauraceae) (avocado) are widely used in African traditional medicines for the treatment, management and/or control of a variety of human ailments, including childhood convulsions and epilepsy. This study examined the anticonvulsant effect of the plant's leaf aqueous extract (PAE, 50-800 mg/kg i.p.) against pentylenetetrazole (PTZ)-, picrotox...
متن کاملTerpenoid Variations within and among Half-Sibling Avocado Trees, Persea americana Mill. (Lauraceae)
Chemical analyses were conducted to determine the qualitative and quantitative differences in monoterpenes and sesquiterpenes in plant material from avocado trees, Persea americana Mill. (Lauraceae). The initial study analyzed plant material sampled from the trunk to the leaves through different branch diameters to quantify proximo-distal spatial differences within a tree. All trees were seedli...
متن کاملThe Effect of Calcium on the Ripening of Avocado (Persea americana Mill.) Fruits
Treatment with calcium (0.1 M CaSO4, 0.1 M CaCl2) depressed respiration of avocado fruits during preclimacteric and climacteric phases. Na2SO4 was ineffective. Calcium not only inhibited respiration but delayed the onset of the climacteric and depressed the peak of ethylene production at the climacteric rise. Determinations of endogenous Ca confirmed that higher levels were positively correlate...
